OnLine Shopping

Fellow netizens. There's been so much hype about
the insecurity of Web shopping in the press. It's almost
all hype. As a former Windows hater (DOS-DieHard),
I'm telling you that it's safer to shop online than via
your telephone. The important thing is to look for the little
padlock in the status bar of your internet browser (the
bottom line in that internet browser). If it's present, and
closed (locked), you are indeed safer than on your telephone.

All that being said, I've been shopping online for years,
and had many a poor experience, so I want to pass along
